Outdoor Wildlife Interactives
Our relationship with the natural world comes out of our experiences of nature. In a world where most encounters between people and wild animals come in roadside glimpses, it’s never been as important as it is today to provide real, meaningful access to the natural world.
The Howell Nature Center is first and foremost a rehabilitation and recovery center for Michigan wild animals who have been harmed. Convalescing animals can be safely visited by school groups and families. On any given day, one might encounter a beaver, a fox, deer, or any of a number of other species.
Howell Nature Center hired Flutter & Wow Museum Projects to design, build and install a set of interpretive, interactive exhibits to help increase understanding, provide context, and bring the people closer to the animals with whom we share our world.
