Environmental Graphics for a Historic Observatory

Amongst the oldest astronomical observatories still operating in the U.S., the Detroit Observatory is a premier learning and outreach venue, open to students and the public alike, and offering interpretation that spans history, astronomy, and technology. They boast a robust student docent program that includes historical interpretation, themed programming, and exhibition projects that draw from the University of Michigan’s rich archive of instrumentation, documentation, and observation.

The Observatory called on Flutter & Wow Museum Projects to help coach and guide student docents in exhibit development, and provide additional environmental graphics and exhibits to elevate the visitor experience
